Another game haphazardly ported to the Wii with many bugs.

User Rating: 6.5 | Tomb Raider: Underworld WII
Tomb Raider Legend and Anniversary made me appreciate why I fell in love with the Tomb Raider series in the first place. I loved everything they did to revitalize the series. From the controls, to the graphics, to the story, I remembered how much fun I had with the original series on PSOne. However, with Tomb Raider Underworld, this is not so.

Frustrating is the word that comes to mind. The game is very buggy, controls not so responsive, and story not too great. While playing, I felt as if the greatest version of the game was dumbed down, and mindlessly ported with no regards to making it really work for the Wii, which is unfortunate. The game seems like it could be much better than what it is.

The Wii puzzles are uninvolving, your life automatically regenerates, and the bugs are unforgiving (clipping and such). Some people did not like the Wii translation of Tomb Raider Anniversary, but I can tell far more time was spent on it than Underworld. I do like some of the control schemes in Underworld better and some of the graphics, but that's about it.
