Lara has to be aged by now. Developers should think something new like the developers for "Resident Evil" have

User Rating: 6.5 | Tomb Raider: Underworld PS3
Graphics: The environments were up to par with the previous installments, but lacked any real difference of atmosphere except the underwater environments. The character movements of Lara and the AI were sloppy and predictable.

Controls: This was probably the worst feature of the game with it being unresponsive, contributing to your death more than enough times throughout the game. It really seemed like the developers were on a tight schedule to rush out a gameplay system with delayed controlled movements and sloppy character design. What's worst is that there's not much added to Lara's arsenal of movements, and nothing really fun about what is added.

Story: This was not much better than the controls, but at least it was satisfactory for an action/adventure genre. Lara starts off in the middle of the ocean searching for clues to behind her mother's disappearance in a mythological place, known as Avalon. This takes her around several exotic locations which include the Amazon, the underground basement of her father's secret study in her renown Croft manor, and the Arctic. Basically, she finds some artifacts of the god of thunder, Thor (2 gloves, belt, hammer), for each location coming to the finale of Avalon in order to destroy the main boss.

Conclusion: Not much in the way of graphical innovation compared to the modern competition in today's industry with hardly any additions or improvements to gameplay mechanics and plot sequence. Some puzzles were fun to try and figure out by searching the surroundings for the best way possible to scale a cliff, or a tower of some sort, but the logic of having to find stones to pull a switch can get really redundant. In all, the visually stimulating environments couldn't make up for the cheap and dull thrills of the gameplay movements and storyline.
