Much, much better then what I though possible!
Landscapes, textures, and creatures very detailed, with very good body motions from Lara to animals and other people.
Story reminds me of the Series Lost Indiana Jones, but the way you go trough it it´s not predictable. Half way trough you think: "it´s going to end now", and then they make a twist and the adventure goes on!
The Cinematics are top notch, and plentiful, but i find myself watching them with interest, instead of looking for a way to skip it. Further more, there are many situations were you have to join that action, witch helps keeping interested.
The most surprising aspect is the Sound track:
It´s up there with some of the best i´v ever seen in games, and i dear to say, as good as Battlefield 2, and Uncharted. Voice actors are very good also (not just good), you really think it´s a movie for the emotion they put on every line.
I was blown a way, maybe because I've been so disappointed with some of the last games that came out, that was expecting another flop - Amazing game in the trailer, but when you get your hands on it: You feel cheated...
I loved the first Tomb raider (Still in PC), but then they lagged for centuries, and these guys did a rebirth of a franchise that i´m sure to follow from now on.
I though Uncharted 23 where worthy of a 9, i have to give this game a 9,5.
Cannot expect more form a adventure game like this one.
