Every Once in a While a Great Game comes along.

Pro: system upgrades are fun

Con into Pro: Amount of cut-scenes was annoying at first, but you quickly become immersed in the story and forget you were annoyed at first. Normally game stories are not that interesting to me and I would rather just get back to playing the game, but the mystery of the island in Tomb Raider becomes enthralling.

Pro: Raiding and searching for tombs is a lot of fun, the tomb's throughout the game are where the puzzles come into play which are just hard enough to make you proud of yourself when you figure them out but not too hard where you instantly give up and go to youtube.

Con: Really the only enemies are the crazy-wacko island inhabitants, would have been fun I think to have offered some bizarre creatures on the island to watch out for as well.

Pro: The fighting system is a lot of fun, you look forward to running into island inhabitants.

Summary: It's been a long time that I have really really enjoyed a game, tomb raider on playstation was THE game that got me into video games because of how much fun it was-I followed all TR games since then. This game does it all over again, the only other game I have had this much fun with is Batman Arkham Asylum (which for comparison, Batman is still a better/more fun game than tomb raider, but TR comes close).

Be sure to play this game the way it was meant to be, on HARD difficulty, otherwise you are going to cheapen your experience and lose out on the challenge that makes this game so great.

Oh, and yeah, visuals are stunningly amazing.

Worth the price tag? HELL YEAH!
