I picked this up earlier today for a great price, and although I am only a few hours in I am already hooked. The world is beautifully crafted and extremely immersive, and the story, although I haven't been through much, really does a great job of showing character development. The upgrade system is simplistic yet rewarding, with it not being too difficult to obtain the necessary requirements. The same goes for the skills system, which revolves around obtaining enough XP to earn 1 skill point. The combat is fun and rewarding, as is the climbing around the environment. Tombs are often fun to explore and offer some great rewards and the puzzles in the game, whilst not being to hard, will sometimes make you take a step back and think.
There are a few issues with the game however, such as sometimes dumb AI that don't seem to notice the yells of their dying teammates or even there corpses. Also, there seems to be some occasional Frame rate issues with the PS3 version of the game. This is to be expected though as the environments look amazing and are very dynamic, realistic and well polished which would put a strain on the 7 year old system.
These few gripes are not enough to bring down the brilliance of this amazing game. So if your a tomb raider fan, or even just a fan of 3rd person action adventures like me, I highly recommend picking up this great game.
