I have played tomb raider since the first of the series and this is clearly a paradigm shift for the series. Finally, we have a more intelligent and sophisticated storyline.

Also the gameplay is different, it is as if it shifts between your typical tomb raider to max payne. But it does that smoothly that it all fits well together.

One of the other good thing about the game, is that Lara Croft gains confidence within the story the more you actually become more powerful and acquainted to the gameplay. Unlike many other games the skills you unlock are very simple and straightforward so it is not that you suddenly turn into phoenix or something but simply become more of a survivor than you used to be

In conclusion, a great game that is extremely underrated and the effort behind it is very clear

+ Sound effects are astonishing as well
