Fantastic storytelling with beautiful scenarios and exciting cutscenes. Good balance between action, puzzles and RPG.

When I first heard about this game, my first thought was "Another re-make...", to the point that I was not interested in buying the game as soon as it was released. However, my housemate gave me good feedback about it and as soon as it went on sale (Steam), I decided to buy it. Bottom line for the game is, it would be worth buying the game for the full price. I believe it is a good combination of storytelling, action, puzzles, RPG and fantastic cutscenes and art direction. This game is no less than exceptional. From the moment you start it gives you a good introduction to the controls without any hiccups. There were minor bugs here and there, but the battles were really good fun, where my favourite part was trying to kill them all with the bow and only head shots (for the extra XP). Some of the puzzles were a bit simplistic but good fun to solve it. It probably can give you around 15 hours of gameplay if you play straight through but a good 25+ if you decide to be very thorough, collecting all the documents, relics and more. Good remake and recommend it.
