This sequel is everything you would expect from a superb game.

Tomba! 2 plays a lot like its predesessor, the plot is about pigs, the ennemies are mainly pigs, and there are plenty of pigs. You'll see 'em all the time, they are everywhere, from the ennemies you commonly battle, to the furious bosses you'll encounter. The plot is basically the same as its predesessor, except that this time, your best friend got kidnapped and you'll have to rescue her too. The graphics in this game are the best the PS had ever seen. The controls are tight, the framerate is smooth, and the game itself is pretty fluid. Compared to the other game, this one has much more 3D to it, making the game even better. The main quest is pretty long, for there are about 10 large levels. Then, there are about 150 side quest which are all very interesting and are logical and sometimes very hard. The boss fights are sublime; they are tough, fun, and very enjoyable. You have many weapons in your inventory that are all very interesting to use. There are also a lot of suits, some to fly, to go fast, to swim and other things like this. In all, if you like classics, and if you like adventure mixed with platforming, you should really check this game out.
