In Tony Hawk's American Waste Land you goal is to gather (by stealing) as much stuff from the town as possible and use it in some way to make a big huge skate park at Iggy Van Sant's Skate Ranch. You have to learn how to ride BMX learn how to use special abilities and teach youself more Skate Board tricks. There is a couple tournaments on the way too which you can gian money from and buy things e.g. clothes, Skate Ranch peices, and entry fees for tournaments.

You start of the game as this couuntry boy not from L.A. and get you stuff stolen as soon as you start the game. You have to dress for success if you wanna get some rep around all parts L.A. every where from Downtown to Hollywood there are a lot of things to do so get a move on. You will run into these hobos who give you between 20 and 50 dollars for doing various, simple tasks. Imagine, HOBOS giving YOU money. Should be the opposite way around if you ask me.

You may also run into various tagger guys who want help putting their logo around the towns and the BMX dude who gives you money for doing the BMX tasks. You need to use BMx for some missions and others (most) you need a board. There are no loading bars when you switch levels you just have to: (1) Take the bus.(2) Drive Iggy's truck. or (3) Do it the long way where you walk/bike/skate your way there. But there are lots of levels and hidden places in this games and you can also unlock the Classic Mode levels if you beat it.

There are even more graffiti styles and you have to unlock them by doing the tagger missions (from the guy you have to help get his logo around).

This is a really fun game and for any of you Tony Hawk fans, RECCOMMENDED!! 100%
