A short game, but it has good replay value.

User Rating: 8.3 | Tony Hawk's American Wasteland XBOX
The latest installment in the Tony Hawk video game series is American Wasteland. Though not as good at T.H.U.G 2, it was still a pretty fun game. With decent graphics and the ability to import custom tracks, it is good from the get-go. The weakest link about the game is that the story mode is quite short, but fairly intresting. You start as a nobody, then you customize your look and board to hit the streets of California. You build your trick list and stats along the way, and make money doing certain things like tagging and trick chains for homeless guys. A cool aspect about the game is that is has classic mode. This is basically the entire original Tony Hawk game that first appeared on PS1 and N64. The regular story mode has an expansive world to skate and destroy, making it very fun. Not only can you skate in this game, you can also throw down your board and pick up a bmx bike. It has a mixture of the old Dave Mirra BMX game and Tony Hawk Under Ground. All in all it is pretty amusing and has good multiplayer and replay value, but its short story and repetitive missions can make it get dull after continuous gameplay.
