One of the best platforming games of all time!

Lets get one thing straight, the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series is not a sports series. For a sports skateboarding game try Thrasher Skate and Destroy. However, as a platforming game Tony Hawks's 2 is almost perfect. This version is of course the classic, with skateparks including Marseille, School II, and The Bullring. Lines are amazingly obvious and yet have subtleties that allow for exploitation and combo chaining.

In hindsight, to go back to this game could be seen as difficult, as the revert is only available in 3 and onwards, but this game still shines as a perfect piece of design.
