The youngest child gets his finest Xbox playground yet.

User Rating: 9.2 | Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 XBOX
The PS2 version looked dissapointing but had lots of fun, and now that hawkster has the Xbox outing a great start for the Underground series. It looks very, very good. Infact, it's one of the best Xbox graphics I've seen through both 2002 and 2003. It doesn't ruin everything (although when you get to the dodgy animation at the create-a-park that'll you hardly notice). The sounds are the weakest through the series, with 'average' SFX. The music is great, though, but it'll feel like a limited amount of options. the voice acting is medicore, I guess.

You have all the skaters like last time with millions amount of value. You skate from well-designed parks and playgrounds. Although, it feels unoriginal. Anyway. The impressive thing is that this game uses no time-limit like the other games. Much. Still, you feel like you have a time limit. The skaters a cool, and have included all your, er, favourites such as Bob Burnquist, Rodney Mullen and [insert the sports star title here]. These ideas are like I said, but some levels are like the last one. No, really.

The sound really needed some improving for sure. But yes, the graphics are very good and lots of detail is in there. Tony Hawk pro Skater 4 is a must, with sublime ideas and superb graphics.
It's BETTER than: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2x
It's WORSE than: Tony Hawk pro Skater 3
Graphics:
+ Brilliant. Absolutly brilliant. The best from the Xbox for 2002 and 2003.
- Dodgy animation from the Create-a-Park editor.
Gameplay:
+ Skateboarding with no time limits.
- It's not free-roaming, damn!
Sound:
+ Very accpetable music and decent SFX.
- Imperfect.
It's great, and it's a must, though it isn't THE Tony Hawk game. Still, I RATED IT OVER 9.0!!!!
