With each game, the Tony Hawk series just gets better and better with each installment of games.
Great new career mode
Bad:
The soundtrack is not all that great compared to previous and newer installments in the series.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is much different from previous Tony Hawk games. There's no 2 minute time limit. You just skate around the levels, and then talk to pedestrians that then give you a mission you must complete in a time limit, that may be above or below 2 minutes. There are also many, many more missions in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 than there were in any previous Tony Hawk games.
The graphics look great. They are improved a little bit from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, but they still look good.
The sound is good. The soundtrack isn't as good as other games in the series, but it is still fairly good. The sounds of skateboarding don't sound any more different than they did in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, but that doesn't matter, since the sounds of skateboarding in the Tony Hawk games is still very good.
The controls are good. The biggest new trick that is featured in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is the Spine Transfer.
The customization is alright in THPS 4. The create a skater mode and create a park mode isn't really that great in THPS 4.
In conclusion, many people will like THPS 4 if they haven't played it before. But, some long time fans of the Tony Hawk games might not like the new career mode.
