A Extremely fantastic game that started a new revolution of gaming

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is obviously a skateboarding game. You play as the pros at you hit different skating joints to do different goals. The plot isn't very deep. In Fact there is no plot except beat goals and unlock levels and skaters. So what makes it so good? Tony Hawk was designed beautifully mainly gameplay wise. What is so amazing about it is that everyting in the game was basically invented. Like, the X button is for ollieing, the square button is for flip tricks, the circle button is for grap tricks, and the triangle button is for grinding. Also there is combinations you do with it such as left button+Square does a kickflip in mid airafter you ollie.

Tony Hawk is extremely addicting. It is so adicting that after you finish the game just to feel the experience again you will play through it again. Also there is multiplayer which will keep you hooked longer. The Sound is there. You have your simple grunts of pain when you bail, you hear the sparks from the skateboard grinding on the rail, you also hear the skater land on the ground. And to top it off you have memoriable lisenced songs that people are still tracking down today. The Graphics are good with its great looking enviroments and good character models. But it looks a little dated in graphics even in 1999 it kinda did because of the new systems coming around. Hands down this is a must-own title and a true classic. If you haven't played Tony Hawk then you seriously missed out.
