Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater has perfect controls and near perfect game play. It will keep gamers playing for a very long time and has excellent replay value. The system of getting tapes is great and the music is too, although it is better on the PlayStation version. The moves are spectacular and it is a game that was good enough to be the basis of many sequels. It involves a lot of skill and is hard to master. Either this game or one of its sequels is definitely the best skating game ever made. Even if you hate skateboarding or you don't think this game is good, the chances are that you'll love it. I would rate it a 9.9 out of 10.
