Tony Hawk's Project 8 is a decent game if you need something to do over the weekend, but thats just it, it only lasts for the weekend. It is an easy game, even on the harder difficulties. It is basically just going around doing random missions to get to rank 1 on Project 8. You are rewarded with nothing special after all your work, I believe you just get a level to skate on and maybe a few secret skaters. After you unlock that then basically all you can do is skate, which gets boring because of no online play. Very, very limited create-a-skater options. You basically have 3 sets of 3 types of skaters. You cant change their clothes. You only have 3 faces to choose from. If that isn't enough, you cant make a female skater. Create-a-park was possibly one of the cooler things to do in the other Tony Hawk games, well you can forget about it in Project 8. In my opinion, Neversoft just wanted to milk some extra cash out of the Tony Hawk fans. Then again, I could be wrong. Maybe Neversoft actually thought this short, boring game would go over well. So if you like doing a lot of random missions for a day or two, then go ahead, get the game. For all of you other people, just don't bother with it. That or rent it, you can probably beat it before you need to return it anyway.
