This Is A Major disappointment to PS2 skating games - it was made with the PS3 in mind not the PS2, leaving it very inferior. For a star the graphics a poor compared with the likes of underground or american wasteland. And soo much for the free-roaming city - were back to the level system again. The goals are lacking in varietyand kinda gives the feeling that its 'all been done before'. The 'Nail-a-trick' system is very good however, giving more depth to the whole focus idea. This game has took the difficulty levels and made it o you choose your difficulty everytime you tackle a goal, rather than select a difficulty before begining. This kinda gives people the easy 'opt-out option' as i call it. For example, if a hardcore-THPS fan was trying to tackle the sick version of the goals, but coudnt manage ti, he could just settle for a pro or amature score, and still get the points needed to progress in the game. The create-a-skater lacks in variety and has less depth to the characters as in pervious verisons, giving little choice in hairstyles, faces e.t.c. Many things have been left out, such as create-a-park, create-a-tag, and most importantly ONLINE!.
However bad this game is it is still worth playing - but it may be best to wait for the PS3 version, as this is a more diet or diluted version.
