A very nice change from the others in the Tony Hawk game series, but still with its common flaws.

Tony Hawk's Underground is a breath of fresh air, compared to the previous ones. In older Tony Hawk games, you picked a professional skater, and....skate. A fun experience at first, but it becomes dull and repetitive. In THUG, you will feel the ball-and-chain of the previous games lifted. In THUG story mode, you are allowed to create a skater, and then, you begin your venture from being a total nobody skater, doing kick-flips in your ghetto neighborhood in New Jersey, to competing against the best of the best.

Gameplay - Is a complete upgrade compared to previous versions, you are now allowed to create yourself, tail cars, get off your board and walk on foot, even drive vehicles! Even though the car physics sucks, it's still an improvement. The environments are lively and unique, but are still restricted, overall an excellent achievement in the TH series.

Graphics - Nice, not the best, but it will get my acceptance.

Sounds - Has a terrific eclectic music track to suit the taste of Hip-Hop, Rock, and Punk. Including artists such as Nas, The Clash, and KISS. The SFX are somewhat unoriginal, but are still good...an A+

Overall, A great game for someone, who has played TH games, or those who never played a good buy, but be warned it will become repetitive and boring after a short while. So it's best to rent first!
