The good parts of this game is the graphics, it is proven that is X-box version has the best graphics out of all 4 versions of this game, they are really sharp, environments look really nice and detailed. There is a character customization, the way you customize your character is really nice, you can give your character a special kinds of hats, a variety amount of T-Shirts, a lot of shoes, and many more things. The main amount of tricks are very nice, you still have the main grinding and 180s and things like that, but in this game, you can do many tricks in one to rack up your combo to a very high amount and the tricks are really easy to nail that is, if you have learned in the game how to do those tricks. The controls are really responsive, over 95% of the time, you never see the controls screw up or not do what you want your character to do. There are many areas to explore, you have New Jersey and many other great places. There are many quests to do in this game to help you become a great skater in this game and it can also help you nail all these great tricks.
The bad parts of this game is the story itself, its ok, but there are times when you aren't really in a big part of the story or sometimes, it may not make a lot of sense where it ends or what is going to happen. The end of the story is not very good at all, you just "beat" your friend in a competition and that is mainly it, that isnt really a great ending. The length of this game, it just isnt going to keep you playing too long to get to the end of the story. A lot of the quests are too easy, some just require you to press the A button and then complete it, or if you have played Tony Hawk games on the Nintendo 64, this game will be very easy.
Overall not too bad of a Tony Hawk game, but it can use some improvements in the story and the difficulty but still a great game.
