It seems like every time I get excited about a Wii game, I am left wanting more and feeling empty. The original Top Spin for xbox was one of my favorite games of all time. I spent hours upon hours improving my player and then starting again to create a new player with different strengths. That was just the single player. The multiplayer was good for hours of fun with friends and family. When I bought my Wii and played Wii sports, I immediately started anticipating a possible Wii version. I waited two years to play this game and the moment I realized there was no career mode, I said (out loud) "time to get a 360". What a bunch of crap!! I am so sick of this system with massive amounts of potential without delivering on any of it. I have every top rated game on this system and while some are good, they don't even come close to scratching the surface of its potential. How hard would it have been to add a career mode? It's just pathetic and lazy. This game is much worse than the original which is over 3 years old. This is called progress? This is cutting edge gaming? I GIVE UP.
I should add that my score 5/10 is only because the gameplay mechanics are actually quite good. I fully expected it to be as detached and mickey mouse as Rockstar Tabel Tennis (Wii).
