If you can't tell by my rating, I love this game. It's really well done in all aspects and is the most enjoyable tennis title I've played. The gameplay is great. While you can jump right into the action with real life players, the real fun (and challenge) comes from beginning a career. You create your character and then train him/her to get ready for some tournaments. It takes a little while to master, but that is all part of the entertainment value. Actual game physics and matches are very well done and definately exciting to play. Especially as you get into the bigger tournaments. It gets really tough, but not impossible. The graphics are excellent. Nice shadows, clean detail, facial expressions and all. The courts are well designed and certainly worth taking a look at. The sound, too, is extremely well done. It's clear, clean and appropriate. A lack of a commentator may bother some people, but, it's actually nice since it gives you more of a first person perspective rather than a spectator. All in all, this is a great game to get for anyone who likes tennis or sports games in general. While you may get bored with it once you accomplish No. 1 status, the beauty is you can create a new character and start all over again!
