Easily the best tennis game out there

Top spin is a very detailed tennis game. It may not have all the stars that we know and love but it makes up for it with it's gameplay. In the game there are many modes but my favorite by far is career mode.

Top spin has an incredible career mode feature. In this mode the character starts off without any money and with a 14 star potential. The character gains money through their endorsement companies and tournaments, but loses it from trainers or can buy new gear.

There are four attributes,

Forehand
Backhand
Serve
Volley

In each of these only up to five stars can be used. In the career mode, the character also has requirements to gain a rank (amateur, pro, all star, legend). Once the character becomes a legend (must be ranked #1) there is not much of a point left in career mode but to buy things and play with your character in exhibitions. As expected, the female characters will only play with females and the males with males.

Overall this is a great game with tons of detail. There are about 6 types of shot that actually do completely different things (depending on the situation). This game far surpasses Mario tennis and whatever else you were probably playing.
