A good, non presumptuous game that delivers just what it promises.

Dungeon redux no doubt about it. If you've ever played Diablo or anything like it (Titan Quest, etc.) then you already know what this game is about. The only thing really disappointing about the game is the lack of multiplayer, which I see as fairly shortsighted.

That being said, the game delivers itself well. The graphics are not great, but they are also not edgy, and do not offend. In fact, I'd say they lend themselves rather heavily to the mood and feeling of the game.

95% of the game is a blatant rip-off of Diablo I-III, from the settings, backgrounds, level design, enemy design, skills, equipment, etc. (Scrolls of Town Portal and Identify, Waygates... :))
They manage to come up with a few things of their own such as guns, and the ability to dual-wield pretty much any combo (Battle-axe in one hand, Pistol in the other, hell yeah). Other than that, it's unique in its striking lack of classes and other choices.

The action is smooth and satisfying but in no way innovative or creative.

The game should run at max settings for anyone whose system is anywhere close to "up to date" and just fine for anyone whose not.

The game really is pretty much a 3rd person dungeon crawler as opposed to the open spaces of Diablo II-III, but it doesn't pretend to be otherwise, so that's fine.

If you're looking for a cheap thrill (20 bucks on Steam, not bad at all), that will occupy your time for a few hours, then go for it. It's a solid Hack'n'slash adventure game with little promise but lots of delivery.
