Boring game

I'm generally not a fan of this genre and I've never played Diablo 2. I finished the game, beat the final boss. I doubt I will return to continue from there. For me it was a way to spend some time, and it offered little true enjoyment. The gameplay was very repetitive. Enemy variety was irrelevant and didn't make the grinding any less dull. Loot was uninteresting and the general mechanisms of everything sucked. The graphics were ugly and cartoonish. They offered me nothing interesting to look at. There was no story to speak of. This is the most important element for me in a game. Even Counter-Strike has a more intricate story. Overall a very boring game. The best thing about it was the occasionally atmospheric music. Having finished the Torchlight 2 demo, I saw it offered more of the same.
