What-craft?
For starters, you have 2 game modes, one similar to minecraft classic, and the other named "dig deep", which is, what you pretty much do. The level isn't as long as minecrafts, but holy crap is it deep, 2000 blocks deep to be exact. Filled with treasure, stuipid looking spiders, and several different rock bed layers, as well as pesky blueprints to find so you can get better gear and continue to the bottom of the map to find a special surprise.
While very similar to minecraft, it borrows some ideas from miner dig deep too, another XBLA game that did very well (one of my favorite XBLA games at that too), ideas that are very simple, like the store feature, and finding blueprints which gives you a sort of annoying goal to work towards. All while avoiding cave in's, stupid looking spider creatures, lava and getting trapped.
The game has a few bugs, some of the enemies, don't really react very well to the player, they follow you and jump on top of you repeatedly, easy enough to kill, but if your surrounded, you better have saved, I noticed some spiders getting stuck in walls and a very instances of a blue screen of death when spiders go into lava (which has supposedly been fixed...).
All in all, this is no minecraft, and whether or not it resembles minecraft or not shouldn't matter, Total miner is a decent game, that should be played by anyone with an special heart for minecraft... I love minecraft and I actually really enjoyed this game too... if you can get past the stupid looking spiders, and horrid glitches, try this game out...
