Very buggy.. seems dumbed down compared to the old games.
The graphics when working do look amazing I must admit that.
The 3d combat works like any of the other games so that seems ok except the enemy A.I. even on the higher difficulty levels have no idea what do you when you have cavalry of any kind. You can literally just charge through their entire army..
The world map looks quite nice but you cant zoom out far enough.
The general game seems a bit dumbed down everything stripped down to the basics.
The U.I. is pretty ugly and not very nice to use.
Some of the above is of course personal preference but the game is very buggy and the A.I. is really bad.. I think Empire is still the best Total War game to date and I will end up going back to that I think.
If anyone is thinking about picking this up the only thing I can say is wait a few months for it to be patched up.
Also I may edit this review after spending more time in the game.
