Amazing, detailed and rich. Deeper slices of the TW Shogun pie here. Hommage and wonderful memories of the original, just in DX11 glory here. Depth of story, music, effects, strategy -- all wonderful.

The various little effects are amazing: water, cherry blossoms etc. The soldiers, the level of detail in the battles. The history and built in encyclopedia are truly wonderful. Trade ships, Indonesia, Korea and China trade possible. Trade routes in detail, naval warfare, various land type of warfare. Brings back the TW Shogun goodness that was and cranks it UP!

Details, DX11, troop variety, historical information and very relevent beauty of the geography will suck you in. Easier to learn, hard to master. Will bring joy to a lover of Samurai and Japanese warfare history!

If you like total war shogun and the total war series - you will LOVE Total War Shogun 2!

  Simple yet complex. Narrower in scope, but more in-depth in strategy. A game with potential to be a masterpiece.
