Another impressive game in the total war series!

I myself love Japanese culture. So being able to play a game based in Japan during one of the most important times' in the nation's history is something I really looked forward to. Overall, I was not disappointed! This game has great qualities that far outweigh the bad. The combat is fun and the AI in most scenarios are smart and challenging.

The only instance where I found the AI to be less than perfect is during a defending siege battle. The AI tended to run around the entire castle, capturing every arrow tower, whereas my archers picked them off so by the time they made it to the 2nd level I had already won, because their armies were broken. Other than that I have no complaints. The graphics are beautiful and the soundtrack added to that feeling of medieval Japan. The campaign mode was my personal favorite, it was challenging and making diplomatic ties with other nations was much more important than in previous games.

Overall, this game is great and worth playing! A 9/10!
