Classic SNES game track and field returns to our list of favorite games as it debuts on Xbox live arcade. First off i will talk about the improvements that have been made to this game, The most notable one is the graphics they have not necessarily changed the graphics from the original but they have sharpened it and put in more colour and we are definitely noticing a difference and loving it. The controls have definitely improved whereas in the classic version there was two buttons you were required to press but you can now use the joystick which has a much better feel to it. The final improvement is the introduction of Xbox Live making it possible to play online and the introduction of leaderboards which make you want to try that little bit harder just to get your name known.
One of the greatest aspects of this game is multiplayer I mean sure the game is still fun when you are by yourself but playing with friends or over xbox live just adds a whole new feel to the game.
One of the most disappointing things about this game is the fact that after the third heat the game just keeps repeating itself with the standards for qualification not getting any harder.
Overall this is still an enjoyable game and for the low price of 400 Microsoft points it is definitly a must buy
