I first found out about this game when I got Track Mania Nations Forever (which is free by the way, and you should get it, and yes you can download it here) and after playing it, I knew I had to get it for the DS. I'm not going to say its a letdown, because its actually quite a fun game, its just simply not as good as any of the PC versions of it. The game has a few different race modes, stadium, rally and desert. Stadium, in my opinion, is the funnest. It keeps the elements of Track Mania Nations Forever that I really liked. The thing that I didn't like about this game was that its a bit harder than the other trackmania games, but the best part about it, was that it really feels like a trackmania game, and if you have ever played one, then its definately one that you need to get.
Pros. - Solid Graphics - Feels a lot like the previous trackmania games - Fast Paced Racing Fun - One of the most different racing games that you will ever play - Build your own track is a bit of fun - Tons of tracks that will keep you busy for a long time
Cons. - More difficult than the last trackmania games - Rally and desert races aren't as fun as you would think - Collision Detection is slightly off
Instead of renting this game first, I would download trackmania nations forever, its free and a lot of fun, and if you like it then you would definately like this game.
