First thing I thought when I got this game was it would be of the OK kind. My previous experience with a Train sim was Microsoft Train Simulator and I felt a bit betrayed by the game. But I never knew that a train sim would be so much fun. Trainz Railroad simulator is a great game. It fascinated not only me but even my family members. You can drive around trains in the routes available in Trainz plus you can create them on your own or there are lots of communities online which publish routes and you can get some commercial third party routes too. The experience is great. From Starting to Braking The experience is very close to reality, that you feel you could be one of those who drive the magnificient monsters on track. The routes are surprisingly detailed but not that much. I guess it will take time before we get very good details. but obviously the limitations are that the routes are too long(some are 100's of Kilo Meters) which makes it difficult to detail that much. I just simply loved this game, waiting for getting the next installment and looking forward to Microsoft Train Sim 2 which is based on Fligh Sim x technology.
