I'm not sure everyone would would enjoy this game, because it seems like a pretty basic shooter, but with the ability to transform. That's what hooked me. The first time I played I kept transforming from robot to car and back to robot at every opportunity. I always loved that transforming noise when I was a kid. There are only 3 characters to choose from in the game, which I thought was kind of lame. You are also given the option of changing out your Mini-con arsenal, but only after you find them. I pretty much stuck with Hot Shot since he was fast and seemed more versatile. Prime seemed way too slow in the open areas, but good for close combat, since he can take more of a pounding. Red Alert, well, he...... ummm, he wasn't worth playing. What an awful choice for a video game. The boss battles are pretty good. Starscream is probably one of the tougher guys to deal with. Unfortunately, the bosses are the only true Decepticons you fight, the rest are Decepticlones. Lame little robots that don't look much like transformers. Oh, and I won't spoil the end of the game if you don't already know what happens, but it doesn't seem to tie in with the rest of the game very well, and it's not very exciting. If you're a fan of Transformers, give it a try, you might find something in there you like.
