What can I say? As a person who grew up with Gen 1, I was skeptical at first given the fact that I feel that Gen 1 is still the best. I felt as a loyal fan I had to give this game a try and I'm glad I did. This game is fun, fast, and beautiful. I really appreciate the fact that Gen 1 is still appreciated right down to the transformation sounds. The minicon upgrades adds a slew of replay value by switching up and the fact that there is no clock ticking away (which forces you to speed through a level and have no fun) is very welcoming. I also like the fact that you can revisit any level you wish and most of all you can transform anytime, anywhere for busting stuff up to just feeling like it. 10 minutes of playing became 2 hours, then 3, hey is that the sun coming up? Definitely one of the best games this year! I'm already looking for the sequel.
