Fun fun fun.
Let's talk gameplay now. It's fast, fun, and intense. The controls are awkward when you start, but when you get the hang of it, you'll be doing so many awesome things so quickly. I actually got the hang of the controls by the second level, so... yeah.
The missions are fun too. Nice variety, ranging from protecting trucks, to destroying buildings, to rescuing humans, you get it. You fight smart enemies that hide and shoot back, you can actually hear dialogue to further make you feel like you're actually the transformer, for example, after killing a decepticon, Ironhide will say "That was actually fun" or something like that. Bosses are cool and challenging too.
It does a okay -ish job telling the story the movie did, but Megan and Shia's voice acting here is awful, so you'll be thankful. All the other transformers sound great.
Graphics are nice, good shading, and surprisingly, there's a LOT of detail in this game. Small things you won't even notice. Which is always a nice touch.
Now Online is where the beef of this game is. Here, all the characters interact, with Grindor taunting Bumblebee and Ironhide calling for Ratchet. Plus, you can also face some skilled players.
There are lots of modes you can play, like Deathmatch and control points, and it's all good fun. And the online is MUCH more engaging than you think it would be. And if you have good teamwork, you'll come out on top a lot of the time. And each character has their own special ability, which makes you want to work together even more.
Now the transformations actually play a large role here. You use them to do "advanced" attacks and such, and it's actually a big part of combat. Once you get the hang of it, being a vehicle in this game is great, you can do all the things you should do and more.
So go buy this game if you want a fun action game. Have fun.
