Simply fantastic. Very addictive and entertaining business sim. Although gets a tad repetitive in the middle.

The first of it's kind and a milestone in business games. Who would ever think that transporting sheep from place to place would be addictive?
It can be a little daunting at first with a huge empty world of towns, factories and businesses looking for an infrastructure but as you go along, you get the hang of the game quite quick. It has an intuitive interface which can however get a little cumbersome when trying to do a little landscaping.
The AI isnt super, but good for its time. A little nasty building and you can surround a competitor's station with you tracks leaving it pausing for a while scratching it's AI head.
The latter stages of the game can get a little repetitive where you spend a lot of your time relaying old tracks with monorails or replacing ageing vehicles.
The modelling of a real transport network is done very well. Like in the real world, you would have ships transporting between ports and then trucks or trains moving them further into towns and factories. The same applies here.
It features cute graphics and really awesome music.

On the whole, a game worth checking out for history's sake at least even if we are now way past what it has to offer.
