Trash Panic isn't your average puzzler. That's a good thing and a bad thing. Decent physics recreation allows for hours of fun breaking and sorting trash to avoid the typical overflow of puzzle pieces (in this case, everyday garbage), hence the panic. Finding new ways to smash objects is embarrassingly fun. This game was on its way to being an easy 9 on that premise alone. And then I remembered the best part... it cost a mere $5. A no brainer, right? About five minutes in, you'll see why it's only going for a Lincoln. Trash Panic is like the annoying guy at the party everyone warns you to stay away from. But curiosity becons, and before you know it, you're kicking yourself for getting sucked into a 30 minute blab fest about nothing. That's Trash Panic. Clever. Innovative. Fun. Rough around the edges. Really rough. First, it's downright buggy. Objects don't fall as they should. Worse than that, objects will lay suspended in mid-air for no explainable reason. There are no options to curb the difficulty, no options to re-assign the controls that aren't refined to begin with. Winning is rare and when it happens, it feels random and lucky. It pains me to tear down a $5 game because it has a lot of potential and is genuinely fun at times. Let's see a patch!
