Great concept, but not quite finished!
First of all, I'll explain what it is:
Tribal Wars is a browser-based game that sets scene in the Middle Ages and lets you take control over a village. You start out with one village with not too much in it, a lumber mill, a farm, a clay mine, an iron mine and a village headquarters is all you get. Each of these buildings has a level, which you can upgrade in your headquarters. What's the advantage of this? For example, with a higher level of lumber mill, you'll gain more wood. There are also other buildings which you can build and upgrade, for example a barracks, in which you can train military units. When your village is big enough and you fulfill a few conditions, you can take over another village thus making your empire grow!
There's no real goal in it, you'll have to put in some goals for yourself, like becoming first in your continent!
Now, my opinion about it:
The game is really great, the way it works is just incredible. You've got a wide range of possibilities to grow, will you play rather defensive, or rather aggressive. But, of course, there's a downside too, first of all, the graphics, even after the graphics update a while ago, the graphics remain bad. You can't choose where to put which building, it goes on fixed places. There's nothing fun about a war, you can't even see your military units fighting. And there's a lot more of that to say, but I'll leave it with this.
Great game, wonderful concept, but not quite finished. Once they'd put a real company behind it, it will be a major hit!
