anything i find under my radar i will give it a try,with tribes ascend i heard about it from my local gaming youtube channel and gave it a bash once it went open beta,and after my time spent in it i will give my 2nd review of a game i played in this past time (i.e 1 week)

gameplay: this isn't your everyday shooter like call of duty or battlefield,but here you need to have a sense of timing and a good amount of skill,which thesse days the shooter scene was missing out on,where you mostly need to time your shots and predict where the enemy is moving,and at some points just shootin aimlessly can get you a lucky kill or just get yourself blown up,there are 3 current modes: team deathmatch,arena (kill the enemy before you get killed off) and capture the flag,where you mostly just well..whatever CTF is really

the game build: it is a classbased shooter with unlocks where you either farm experience for it or buy the currency which is PRECIUS GOLD! and the experience is mostly just to upgrade your equipment so it's not really worth farming countless hours of xp for a good gun,it has 3 classes out of 3 armor types with 9 classes in total,either go as a fast-paced capturer pathfinder,a sneaky infilitrator or on defensive as a brute or any other heavy class and to reinforce your base or attack the enemy's base: go with technician for defense or soldier/raider in attack

the looks: the game is actually very pretty,apart in some cases where you get shot by an explosive it looks like you got your mech's glass cracked (because it does look like your in a mech) and it gets slightly blurry,other than that it is a really amazing-looking game

so to break it down for you: the game is fun,you need skill to survive and kill things,it's a fresh sight for games that were skill-based (and CoD and battlefield in my opinion are not skill-based),3 modes where you can get a bunch of joy out of,9 classes to pick from with unlocks that it would be recommended to buy the currency with your money and spend the experience on upgrades or one of the cheap classes that you can get from playing a few games,a pretty game with a few blurry moments but that is all that there is to it really

if you would ask me i would recommend it to you...if you have the patience and don't get angry if you blow yourself up :)
