This game is just a pain in the ass. First off, you can't do crap. You could play it with an old nintendo controller almost, since you really only use a couple of buttons. Most of the buttons go unused. There's no jumping, peeking around corners, nothing strategic. And that's funny, because on some of the missions you have to use "stealth", what a joke. You have to hide from the police, and they can seem to "sense" your presence, see you behind walls, etc... The AI is bad, occasionally they're too good, like I just mentioned, but usually they're dumb as rocks, if not dumber. There can be two guys guarding a door, you can pick off one with an UNsilenced weapon, and the other will just stand there like nothing happened until you whack him. There are no mid-level saves, which I always hate. But that can be tolerable if the levels are good, but when you're relying heavily on chance (will the AI be superhuman this time???), it's not fun. I love gangland third person shooters, so that made this an extra let down for me. Oh yeah, one more thing, there is NO talking, other than the police occasionally yelling 'Hold It!' or something. The cut scenes have no voice, only text captioning. Hard to believe it's a PS2 game.
Don't waste your time or money. The only I got it was because it was in a discount rack for $3. I wish I could go back and keep my $3. I spent about fifteen minutes playing the game and that was all that I needed to s... Read Full Review
