A game overlooked a lot, but well worth $20 brand new.

Over the course of 2 days I have put about 15 hrs on this game. It's just so addicting leveling up your characters and finding new loot. I like the way the story is unfolding, and the characters have their own personality making this game stand out.

Gameplay:
It's pretty standard, but addicting. You can map any attack to either square, triangle, or circle for each character. Plus you can push R2 to select a new group of button mapped attacks. R1 is roll/dodge, L2 is switch characters, L1 is block , and X is jump and everything works as intended. The only problem I have is the camera. The camera can be a pain sometimes.

Towns and World Map:
World Map is just like Dragon Age. You select a destination on the map. The Towns aren't like other RPG's. You cannot actually roam the towns. Once you go to a town you are brought to a picture of the town with all the options to do in that town. All towns have a Adventurers Guild where you get most of your quests and side quests, Mage's Guild where you buy items and scrolls (sometimes get useful info for sidequests) Taverns where you can hear all the gossip (sometimes leads to sidequests). The starting town has a Arena where you can fight as a galdiator for prizes, some story events happen here.

Overall the game is better than I thought it was going to be. I was reluctant to buy because of the bad reviews, but I am happy with the game and think most reviewers are wrong. So if you are in the mood for a good RPG then go ahead and buy this game.
