This could have been so much better.
Step forward to 2004, when designers decided to grace us with this weird and hard-to-understand copy of America's favorite party puzzler. There are bizarre, unnecessary screens where the walkways fly around, the game board looks like a pile of gems and the characters have no charm whatsoever. It seems they tried to make this look like every other game out there, to attract the sort of people who, uh, hate trivia games.
But why ruin a good thing? You won't increase the audience, you'll only alienate all the established fans and confuse the new. Surely good souls out there can see to it that the original arcade classic is brought to a current game system in its proper form. Until that day, the people responsible for this dull travesty ought to be ashamed of themselves.
