Tropico 5

We need you Presidente !
The citizens of Tropico will reply on you to solve and govern your colony. Choosing a direction for your regime can be both a moral choice and one of entertainment. Such as becoming a westernized capitalist leader or siding with the environmentalists your supporters will be split up into factions and time will be spent deciding on which advice and quests to adhere to for your own regime. You are not rigidly confined to one however, you may decide to be a military dictator in one age and then move towards peaceful globalist ideals in the next.
It is enjoyable to move throughout the ages knowing you have built your own city and island from the ground up however some things may be unclear to some at the start. With a little intuition its easy to easily work throughout the interface smoothly.
The story is adequate and fairly generic however the game play is the aspect of this game that shines through making your own decisions and not being guided on a linear path. Of course, you do have to complete some objectives to progress through the mission if you are doing the campaign. This may be challenging at the start and may take you a retry of the game if its your first time playing, as management is a key skill that comes into play in regards to time keeping. Avoiding an invasion or exporting enough uranium to questionable countries can be fun incentives.
the graphics are fairly impressive and are fully customized, some tasks may prove demanding for older machines depending on large scale activities happening such as invasions. Tropico really brings out 2 gorgeous slightly varying islands that you play on having their own qualities and environments. More variation would have been nice to see however.
Furthermore if there is one thing to talk about is the fact that you can replay on story or just for fun. However at the end of the campaign even though i was curious as to what would happen if i created a military dictatorship as me as the *cough* supreme leader, what would happen. However i found myself lacking motivation as I had generally completed most things by the end of the game, had wars, uprisings created all the buildings. The list goes on. This could be subjective for me but the game didn't offer much to be by playing it after finishing the ccampaign Overall the price tag for the game is worth paying for and you will sink a decent amount of hours into this fun filled tropical island whether you decide to join with the Americans and bomb everywhere or conserve the environment.
