Amazing, if it weren't for the graphics

I knew the graphics were gonna be bad when I bought this game, but not this bad! It doesn't look much better than Driver 2, except for the draw distance. The framerate drops like hell when driving, and the game doesn't look much better when on foot. Everything has such a low resolution. It's a disaster, even Street's of L.A. whoops NYC's ass when it comes to graphics.

Although, you kinda get used to the terrible graphics, and when you do you will start to notice the good parts of this game. It just feels so advanced. You can enter almost every single building in the game, and the crimes often take place there. That's right, the crimes. They are a lot better than in Street's of L.A.

It's pretty cool that you are left with so many choises when you are about to bust some criminal scum. You can either do the right thing and bust their asses, or you can be a bad cop and take a bribe and let the fools go. But if you do, the crime will increase in that area. You can also extort shop owners, witch is pretty cool.

The worst part of Street's of L.A. was the travelling distances. You had to drive everywhere, and the city was so huge it could take an half hour to drive to a location. This ain't a problem in NYC. Here, you can either take a cab or go under ground and ride the subway. You can also buy clothes, food, cars and weapons. And the more perps you bust, the more salary you can pick up at the station.

True Crime has terrible graphics and a some glitches, but in the end it still a lot better than Street's of L.A.
