This game is great for people who like gta but the storyline however makes it much worse than expected...Its basically about you as a cop going around the city solving boring crimes and acting like a bigshot. Its good for gamecube owners because they cant buy any of the gta games. The city however is quite larger than expected. Although its pointless because the story is very short and you can barley go into any of the buildings. So all I do is just go all around the city causing chaos and killing everyone I can see and nothing happens which is really fake in my opinion. You can be a good cop and solve all the crimes you find but after a while it just gets too boring too handle.. The soundtrack is completley horrible, they just but a few songs when you get into any car and there all about Truecrime! And after a while youll be crying with misery because you cant take the horrible songs anymore!!! When you kill anyone there isnt any blood or gore which makes the game really fake and stupid!(I mean when you shoot people in the street.) So this game is not worth your money (you might be thinking that this game is fun because you can kill people in the street and/or solve crimes but it gets boring fast.) The graphics are worse than i expected also the sound doesnt really impress me at all... I guess you should rent it first than if you like it you should get because you might have a different opinion about the game than mine. But for lovers of the gta series this game should be avoided before you regret wasting your money, just buy your girlfriend something or just save your money to buy a new console or something useful instead because this game is just sadly unfufilled potential...
