================================ REVIEW TRUE CRIME STREETS OF LA ================================ The game's about the city of angels; Los Angeles. You're replacing your dad to solve some crimes in the city. When you arrive at the EOD-department, you'll see a introduction movie of you, a college who's purely jealous and George, the guy with the tubby and his PC who keeps the spirit at the office. You start with a shooting practice, you'll notice that the automatic targeting swithes very slow through your opponents... Afterwards, you'll have to solve some missions to save the day. When driving, you'll see that you look at your map in the left corner, you'll notice it's not as detailed as in other games. Gameplay ************* Very good! The shooting is very precise, there are màny cars, màny civillians (who you can frisk to get a 'Good Cop' rating, with a 'Good Cop' rating you can play a side of the story but as a 'Bad Cop', you can play another side of the story line. After playing a chapter, you can do some Bonus Missions to win an other car (a faster one of course :p), when enemies drop their weapons you can pick them up, from knifes to uzi's, uzi's to snipers, ... . Also, you'll encounter some missions where you have to joyride or 'joyshooting', so it's done véry well! Only, the spirit like that GTA has, is missing véry hard... Graphics ************ The gfx of this game are just good, but when you'll see the PC version, you're going to think: Eh? Has the console version better graphics?? It's that disgusting!* To the point, when the characters speak you'll see that the mouths go well together with the audio. There are also reflections on the building, you can smash everything in the city, except buildings. ;) But it's very detailed, even superb! Sound ******** The sound is very good, clear voice-overs, rap-stations in your vehicle and civilians who have their own will (attacking when you frisked them, etc). Value ******* It's just enough to be given a 7. It's not good at all, the game has many bugs, no spirit like GTA, almost no freedom, no gun shop etc... I think this game is great still I think it's a bit like Grand Theft Auto but the fact that you're meant to be the good guy in this game is great. Good graphics aswell. I like how they have seperate fighting scenes aswel... Read Full Review
