Fast gameplay, brutal fightings, cool shooting with slo-mo, furious chases and a movie-like plot - this is True Crime LA
But few years later i bought this game. And i understood i was wrong about gta. This game was cooler in all aspects. Graphics was beautiful for that time, many times better than in vice city or San Andreas. Music is perfect: lots of genres and styles. Fighting system is awesome you could learn different styles in special fight schools Nick Kang was ass-kicking left and right. By the way this is the first game in which i saw a cover system.
There are many new and cool ideas in this game , for example your cars are saving in the parking, you are able to learn fighting styles and car tricks and you could unlock new pistols in shooting ranges.
And of couse the plot of the game which can be used to make a movie.
Of couse there are some bad aspects of the game - the scenery is poor, ai is not perfect and physics are not good.
But still, this game really rocks!!! 9/10
