Doesn't really make up for the loss of GTA on 'Cube...

User Rating: 8.1 | True Crime: Streets of LA GC
While True Crime is O.K. GTA is better. I heard that this was a GTA beater. WRONG. The gameplay is basically a GTA clone. Carjack people, shoot guns and fight people. One difference is that you are a cop and you hunt down the triad. It's the other way around in GTA. The storyline is appauling. If you actually decide to do the missions and not just muck about, you'll find that they get boring and tedious, although a couple of the chapters you have to play if you are a "Bad Cop". They contain hostage missions and loads of shootouts. YEEEHAW! There is quite a big map to explore featuring places from all over LA. It's just missing Will Smith as the Fresh Prince. The story gets over the top when you fight "Ancient Wu" A Triad demon who lives in the sewer. Yaa.... Of course this game is based on real life... And the Russian sex-torture house... yaa.. totaly realistic...

Gameplay- 10/10
GTA but kinda worse because of the missions. Loads of combos to use and learn. You can upgrade your weapons and learn new car moves as well. Kill too many people and either the fuzz or some gangstas will come to kill you. No messin'

Graphics-7/10
Okay, but there are about a million and one games with better graphics. There are some glitches, like when you jump backwards while shooting newt to a wall. Ewww..... It's like something from a horror movie.

Sound- 7/10
Corny, and I mean corny voice samples and a really bad rap soundtrack. However, it makes it up with Taproot and N.E.R.D

Value- 8/10
It's like GTA in some areas but if you choose to do the missions you'll get bored quickly. You may replay it depending on how much you liked it.

Pros- It's the closest thing to GTA on 'Cube
- If you love rap you'll love the soundtrack.
- Upgradeable weapons and things

Cons- Glitches.
- Awful storyline
- Nowhere near as good as GTA.
