Though it definitely has its "broken" aspects, this game is not NEARLY as bad as people make it out to be.

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty (Xbox 360)

Storyline:
The storyline in "Turning Point: Fall of Liberty" is unlike any I have ever encountered in my life. It is an idea of "what if?" based on World War II. The game features an introduction that explains this "what if?" factor incorporated in the game. It talks about how Winston Churchill of course was in that horrible accident where he was struck by a vehicle and nearly died. As we all know, he did NOT die, and ended up leading England (and many parts of Europe) to deny the wrath of the Nazis and keep them away. The idea of the game is "what if Churchill hadn't survived?" It takes on this idea and makes it pretty interesting. As you may have suspected, this altercation of history means that the Nazis end up taking over all of Europe, and then move towards the United States. That's where you come in. You play as a regular old American construction worker by the name of Dan Carson. After escaping a near-death experience (hanging on a skyrise while the Nazis attack), you quickly are put into the combat and eventually end up fighting for the United States. As the game progresses, the story does as well and leads you throughout many parts of the world as you try to destroy the Nazi reign. It is basically up to you to be the world's hero. Now, as awesome of an idea as it was, it didn't quite deliver as well as it could. That's because they mainly used only that beginning introduction to make the game. It's almost as if the producers sat down and said "hm, let's make a game where people in the USA can just fight Nazis. That would be awesome. But how?", and just went from there. It really goes from that really awesome premise to just straight-up killing Nazis with no major story progression throughout the remainder of the game. Yes, it's disappointing, but it still has a pretty cool idea. It just had more potential than it ended up incorporating in the game.

Graphics:
The graphics in this game are actually very good. Explosions look amazing, character models are okay, and weapons look great. HOWEVER, the game suffers from probably the most frustrating glitches and bugs of any game in history. It is absolutely horrid. There are times when you can just be walking along and get stuck in the ground, and have to restart. When glitches and bugs get to the point where they are actually affecting the gameplay results, it becomes one hell of an annoyance, and "Turning Point" definitely proves this. The game also suffers from pretty bad lack of texture. In other words, the game constantly looks 2D. All in all though, this game looked good, and would've looked even better if it didn't have so many problems with bugs!

Entertainment:
This is definitely an entertaining game, provided you get by extreme annoyances. It can be pretty compelling, and still feel pretty realistic at times. The combat is also a HUGE plus. It just feels very relaxed. The aiming system is great and the guns do what you want them to do. There is also a pretty large selection of weapons, and that definitely is a good thing! Just watch out for some annoyances. If you can get by these, you should be fine, but not if you're not expecting any issues. If you are an impatient gamer, don't even give this one a try. It will end up making you use the disc as a frisbee. Also, be careful of when you die. There is ONLY an auto-save feature and it only saves once every half hour or so. It's possible that you could die and find yourself a half hour earlier playing through it all again. And that's not a joke!
