Twisted Edge is too slow to be a snowboarding game.

User Rating: 5 | King Hill 64 Extreme Snowboarding N64
Twited Edge is a snowboarding game that came out the same year as 1080 Snowboarding. Both games were on the Nintendo 64. Twisted Edge was no competition for 1080. 1080 was a much better, in depth snowboarding game.

Twisted Edge is based on racing. You can pull of tricks but the core game is about racing. You go against three other races as you race down mountains. This is not very fun because the mountains are boring and the racing is slow. 1080 is known for is speed. If Twisted Edge was known for anything it would be slowness. There are few tricks and there not very easy to pull of either.

The graphics are pretty bland. The environments look dull and the riders look too blocky. The graphics aren't so terrible. They are just mediocre. The sound isn't so great either. There are five songs and none of them are very good. They don't have lyrics, just guitar playing. The narrator gets annoying. This game isn't very long and won't keep you coming back for more.

If you're a snowboarding fan, buy this game at your own risk. It's probably very cheap now. I got y copy three or four years ago for $12.99.

"5.0-mediocre."
