A very entertaining and challenging game that will keep you playing a long time with your character or your friends.

Simply an amazing game. It is very exciting and intense and it will keep you playing for a long time. Most likely, when you're playing story mode, you'll find yourself wanting to keep playing even when you're getting killed often because you want to see what happens to your character next. Most of the stories are intense and thrilling, but some seem a little repetitive (almost half of the characters are wearing masks). The game moves at a very fast pace, with 6-8 opponents on each level. And don't forget the bosses. Luckily, the controls are laid out perfectly so you won't have to lift up you're fingers hardly at all. Each weapon makes its very own sound and the game forces you to use the weapons at the right time. Plus, some weapons (specifically 'skill weapons') require excellent timing to get the full effect of the weapon.
The levels are very detailed and there are plenty of things to blow up and many different ways to blow them up. Also, you have to remember which buildings can and can not be destroyed, so you can hide from you're opponents, which you will have to do at some time. On the downside, lots of things in the environments have cheesy effects. For example, you can knock over a house or a mansion to smitherines just by giving it a love tap with your car. Also, the hills sometimes make you stop suddenly, and the old ramming from TM 1&2 are missing.
Overall, a fantastic game that's worth trying out or buying, despite how old it is. I have yet to see many PS2 games that are as good as quality as this game. Hoped this helped you out.
